work carried out by Art Edmonds at Britannia Silversmiths.
Just a small example of tools used by a silversmith.
Some are handed down and are over 100 years old.
A water pitcher, as received from a client.
Removing dents in the base and reshaping.
Repairing the base prior to restoration.
Dent removal from the body of the pitcher.
Silver soldering the base to the body of the pot.
The water pitcher is buffed and polished to a high shine.
The water pitcher has now been restored to its original lustre.
